Read the text and choose the correct answer - A, B or C.
1. Rory Stewart received this simple warning from and Afghan security service officer who questioned him about his travel plans. It was January 2002 and Stewart, ........ was British, intended to walk across Afghanistan. He could speak Persian and had some knowledge of Muslim customs. The planned trek was sort of a much longer journey, a solo walk across Iran, Pakistan, India and Nepal.
